Colorfully camouflage on the Hungarian Army Aviation Mi-8 helicopters

The Hungarian Army Aviation received 43 Mi-8T/P Hip-C Helicopters between 1969 and 1973. The original factory green color was not durable. The worn parts were repainted in patches at the airport.

From 1975, new three-colored colorful camouflage was painted on Mi-8 Hip-C helicopters at the Hungarian Aircraft Repair Plant in Tököl airport. The new painting was made of brown, green and sand.

In 1975, another Mi-8T (10444) and Mi-8P (10445) Hip-C helicopter arrived, which was painted in two color (green and brown) factory camouflage instead of green camouflage.
